K-City Preschool and Child Enrichment Center is a ministry of Shelby Church of the Nazarene.  The church had recognized the need in the Shelby community for several years for more faith-based childcare.  The dream to open the doors to a new childcare was finally realized in April of 2011.  As a faith-based center K-City embraces the scripture Galatians 5:22. Our staff displays patience, kindness and love toward the children, families, and each other. We believe with  we can effectively develop the social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical growth of each child enrolled.  Our daily schedule includes time for bible stories and chapel time for school-age and preschool classes.  We have multiple community visitors to our program such as the Marvin Memorial library and members from the fire dept, Gorman Nature Center, police officers and visitors from OSU extension office.  We highly value K-City families and try to plan seasonal activities for family and staff engagement.
